Productions » The Little Prince

This is our interpretation of the classic book ‘The Little Prince’ by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

With specially commissioned animations and an original score, the retelling of this literary French classic brings together the age-old magic of puppetry and the wonderful wizardry of modern technology.

Reimagined through a newly devised script, the story follows a young prince on his journey across various planets throughout space, addressing themes such as love, loneliness, friendship and loss.

Commissioned by the Ziguzajg Arts Festival for Children and Young People 2021, ‘The Little Prince’ is aimed at children, as well as adults, aged 8 and above.

‘The Little Prince’ was adapted by Jes Camilleri, directed by Chris Gatt and performed by Jes Camilleri, Charlotte Grech, Liliana Portelli, Paul Portelli and Pierre Stafrace. Puppets by Pierre Stafrace and Liliana Portelli; props by Gordon Dimech and Paul Portelli. Original music composed and played live by Albert Garzia. Animations by Francesca Grech.
