The Story

Commissioned by Ziguzajg International Arts Festival for Children and Young People at Spazju Kreattiv, AiDA is an original script loosely inspired by the timeless story of Pinocchio.

When rebellious, headstrong AiDA finds herself trapped inside a video game being developed by her own mother, Gloria, she must do far more than simply find a way out. She has to navigate a world of glitching landscapes, unpredictable challenges, and characters who are not quite what they seem – all drawn from the perilous adventures of Pinocchio himself.

Funny, heart-pounding, and unexpectedly moving, AiDA asks a question that feels more urgent than ever: what does it really mean to grow up when the world around you is still being written?
